The Visual Effects of The Great Gatsby

I enjoyed The Great Gatsby well enough, but most reviews of the film were lukewarm at best. Regardless, part of the reason I enjoyed it was Baz Luhrmann’s trademark visual flair, and in fact the visuals may have overwhelmed the entire movie with their flashiness. But man, when you look at a before-and-after visual effects sizzle reel like this one, you can’t help but be amazed.
