Thanks to Reddit and my ongoing search for obscure cult video, yesterday I discovered Cap’n Video – a TV series that used to air on public access TV in St. Catherines, Ontario, (where the mike went to school, incidentally) and featured crazy stunts like this one many years before Jackass. In this particular stunt, the Cap’n, whose real name is Ralph Zavadil, fractured his neck in the fall and almost drowned.
