Before They Were Stars: Tim Curry Promotes a 1969 Stage Production of “Hair” (in French!)

This clip is only 42 seconds long, but is likely the earliest existing footage you’ll ever find of Tim Curry. At the age of 22, Curry got his first big break when he was cast in a London stage production of Hair, and here he is promoting the show in an interview for French television, where he speaks the language very fluently. It’s also worth noting that Curry’s future Rocky Horror Picture Show co-star Richard O’Brien would soon join the cast of this production.
