The Raid: Redemption is, without a doubt, one of the best martial arts movies of the past decade, if not of all time, but there’s no denying that the plot is purely utilitarian. We don’t need anything more than a tenement with a bad guy on the top floor, and in fact, the plot was so effective that it was stolen by Dredd to similarly awesome effect. Now Gareth Evans is back for another heaping helping of chop socky in The Raid 2: Berandal, and the trailer looks badass. I’m really glad I’m not that wall.
