Speaking of directors becoming parodies of themselves, here’s a tiny tease of Darren Aronofsky’s Noah, which looks suitably epic but, uh, am I the only one who finds this kind of ridiculous? I mean, Russell Crowe has lost a lot of credibility with me since Les Miserables, the open shot looks really similar to one of the first shots of the Man of Steel trailer, and just the idea of Aronofsky doing a gritty, heavy-duty Bible movie…it’s all just too much.
