Before They Were Stars: Matt LeBlanc in a Heinz Ketchup Commercial

During the 1980s, a pre-Friends Matt LeBlanc appeared in a shitload of commercials and I’m surprised I haven’t gotten around to posting most of them yet. This ad for Heinz Ketchup is definitely his most famous as LeBlanc leaves an open Heinz bottle dangling from the roof of a building while he runs downstairs, grabs a hot dog and uses it to snag the falling ketchup. As someone who always found ketchup bottles to be the ultimate source of frustration, I could never figure out why Heinz thought it was an effective ad campaign to showcase just how long it takes to get the damn ketchup to pour out.
