Before They Were Stars: Jennifer Lawrence as a Teenage Patricia Arquette on “Medium”

One of Jennifer Lawrence’s earlier roles was playing a victim on a 2007 episode of Medium. One year later, they decided to bring her back for another episode of the show, only time this time she had the distinction of playing a teenage version of Patricia Arquette’s character, Allison Dubois, in flashback sequences. And in order to establish that, yes, these sequences do take place in the 1980s, they play the obligatory rendition of “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” on the soundtrack.
