While Dan Harmon was sneering at NBC for messing around with Community, he was also working on an animated pilot with Justin Roiland called Rick and Morty. The premise is simple: Imagine if Futurama was mashed up with Back to the Future, but Doc Brown was a completely insane drunk. So awesome! I’ll be watching this one with great interest.
