Before They Were Stars: Martin Freeman in a Faith No More Music Video

In 1998, an unknown Martin Freeman made an appearance in the music video for Faith No More’s cover of the famous Bee Gees song, “I Started a Joke”. In addition to Freeman’s presence, this video is interesting for numerous reasons. It also happens to feature an appearance by British actor Shaun Dingwall, who had a recurring role as Pete Tyler on Doctor Who throughout 2005-06. And it’s also worth noting that Faith No More had officially disbanded a few months before this video was filmed, which is probably why Mike Patton is the only band member to actually make an appearance here.
