Before They Were Stars: Morgan Freeman in a Life Insurance Commercial

Sometime during the 1970s, an unknown Morgan Freeman appeared in this commercial for the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company. Not many actors could recite and sing the line “We put our John Hancock on a John Hancock” without sounding silly, but he still demonstrates why he has one of the most credible-sounding voices of all time.
