I enjoyed the Norwegian Nazi zombie film Dead Snow well enough as a campfest, but I’d never rank it near the top of my list of favourite zombie films. Then director Tommy Wirkola made Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, which I thought was positively stupid, so he kind of killed what little credit he had with me. When I heard that Dead Snow was getting a sequel, I can’t say as I was interested, but this trailer actually looks pretty fun, and I like the idea of stitching a zombie arm onto a living person. I expect this will just be further ridiculousness in the same vein as Wirkola’s other work, but hey, the trailer got me curious. I’ll probably watch this one on Netflix.
