If only I had known about this movie a week ago, I would have definitely listed it among my most anticipated of the year on our podcast! DOOMED is a documentary which tells the story of how Roger Corman was hired to produce a Fantastic Four movie in 1994 so that the film studio could retain the soon-to-expire rights to the characters. An entire movie was made, but it was never meant to be released. It was literally only created so that the studio didn’t have to give up the characters. The Fantastic Four has become something of a legend since its creation, and after Corman’s World – the documentary about Roger Corman – I think it makes a lot of sense to take a closer look at this particular project of his, because man, what a weird tale. Incidentally, the entire movie is available on Youtube!
