No, no hunting.

After 12 years in prison, looking to collect what he’s owed for keeping his mouth shut for protecting his rich mobster boss, safecracker Dom Hemingway finds himself drawn back to the perils and pleasures of his criminal lifestyle while trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter.

I hadn’t paid any real attention to the upcoming Jude Law film Dom Hemingway because, well, nothing about it really jumped out at me. An ex-con reintegrating into the real world isn’t exactly groundbreaking plot material, and the poster was pretty generic. I skipped the first trailer as a result, but now a new piece of information has come to light that has made me instantly interested: Richard E. Grant, one of my favourite actors, is in this! So I watched this second trailer and now I’m quite looking forward to Dom Hemingway. I still don’t think it will break any new ground, but it looks like a good time.

Dom Hemingway comes out April 4, 2014.
