Tom Hiddleston as Half of the Avengers

Did you know that before he was cast as Loki, Tom Hiddleston auditioned for the part of Thor? Well, he did, and now that audition footage is coming to light (conveniently coinciding with the DVD release of Thor: The Dark World). Along with the footage (which you can see below in animated gif form) is a deleted scene where Chris Evans’ Captain America cameo is instead played by Hiddleston in the Cap costume. Man, is there anything this guy isn’t awesome at?
