In the words of Vince Nitro, “Oh WOW. This looks like a fucking TRIP.” And I have to agree, Vince, I have to agree. Fear Paris is an anthology horror film of interwoven stories all taking place in a twisted version of the City of Love. I love that anthology films are coming back into style, but as usual they depend severely on the strength of the filmmakers involved. This one features Joe Dante of Gremlins fame, which is a good sign, but also the directors of Hitman and Iron Sky, which could be…less good signs. Regardless, the thing that catches my eye, what with these crazy Juggalo-looking mimes, is the fact that one of the visual effects companies that worked on Gravity is also working on Fear Paris. It’s enough to get me interested. Plus, killer mimes.
