Alejandro Jodorowsky is a veritable enigma in the world of cinema, as he’s only directed maybe a dozen films over the course of his career. El Topo is a masterpiece of psychedelic film, and a favourite cult movie of mine, but I honestly haven’t seen any of his other work. But damn, I’m totally going to see this documentary. Why wasn’t his vision of Dune made?! Why isn’t anyone financing it now?! I want Jodorowsky’s Dune!
