It’s amazing to think that Al Pacino’s iconic performance in The Godfather was only his third movie role. Even though he had a pretty successful career in Broadway at that point, his only previous film credits were a lead role as a heroin addict in The Panic in Needle Park and a very small bit part in an independent drama called Me, Natalie. He’s onscreen for only about a minute or so, dancing with Patty Duke.
