Among the Sleep continues to prey on our primal childhood fears

Among the Sleep is an indie horror game that I’ve had my eye on ever since the alpha build was made available to play last year. In the game, you play a toddler who is being pestered by unseen entities in a house that seems to be void of any sort of parent or babysitter. The demo I played was pretty straightforward in terms of gameplay – lots of basic puzzle solving wrapped in a a creepy atmosphere and a unique first person perspective. Well, now things are heating up with this new gameplay trailer, as the house seems to be getting more and more sinister. I love that this game is going for Oculus Rift support as well. Why don’t more first person games play with perspective like this?
