When you’re an aspiring actor, there’s probably nothing more heartbreaking than getting a role in a major film, only to have your entire part left on the cutting room floor. Shailene Woodley was only nine years old when she was cast to play a younger version of Chyler Leigh’s character in a flashback sequence in Not Another Teen Movie, but the scene wound up getting cut out of the film. On the bright side, this kind of thing was probably a lot harder for actors to take before the advent of DVDs because at least they now have a chance to view their excised footage in the deleted scenes section.
