In 2007, an unknown Andrew Garfield appeared on the two-part Doctor Who story, “Daleks in Manhattan” and “Evolution of Manhattan”. In these episodes, the Doctor and his crew travel back to Great Depression-era New York City and encounter a poverty-stricken kid played by Garfield, who speaks with a Southern accent.
