I’ve been cautiously optimistic about Sin City: A Dame to Kill For ever since the first trailer. On the one hand, it looks like a perfect sequel to Sin City, in terms of both style and substance. But will that stuff still fly today, almost a decade after the first movie? I can’t give a concrete answer, but this newest trailer makes me want to say YES MOST DEFINITELY. Not only does this look just as slick as ever, but it actually has me excited to see it in 3D, which is pretty rare. Here’s hoping it’s not a disaster, because if it is, I might go crazy. And crazy’s sounding pretty good right now.
