I love posting “Before They Were Stars” clips of future celebrities who once performed on the popular TV show, Star Search… especially when it turns out said celebrity wound up losing the competition to someone who faded into complete obscurity. Such was the case in 1990 when an unknown Norm MacDonald performed some stand-up on Star Search… and lost to an African comedian known as “The Bushman”! Yes, the Bushman obviously did not go on to take the world of comedy by storm, but over 20 years later, someone associated with TMZ hired a cleaning service for his apartment. They sent a cleaner named Lahai Fahnbulleh to carry out the job and believe it or not, the tenant actually recognized him as the Bushman!
