I say it every time I post a trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy, but guys, you have no idea how excited I am for this movie. This looks to be entertainment on the level of all my favourite 80’s sci-fantasy movies that were obviously thought up by a room of coked-up Hollywood executives. “He was abducted by aliens when he was a kid! Uh, and he meets up with, uh, like, a killer tree, and, uh, OH! A talking raccoon! Yeah, that’s it!”
And, as I have said before, I really, really wish I was Star-Lord. It’s always secretly been my dream to become a wisecracking space bandit. Sigh.
Guardians of the Galaxy comes out August 1, 2014.
