Before They Were Stars: Christopher Walken in “The Anderson Tapes”

Even though he had already done some television work at that point, Christopher Walken’s official feature film debut was alongside Sean Connery in a 1971 Sidney Lumet-directed thriller called The Anderson Tapes. It wasn’t a very big role, but with his off-the-wall delivery of the line, “America, man, it’s so beautiful. I wanna eat it!”, I guess you could call the following clip cinema’s first official “Christopher Walken Moment”.
