Wouldn’t it be neat to see Charles Xavier and Magneto teaming up to fight the Nazis during World War II? Well, the closest that came to happening was in the acclaimed HBO mini-series, Band of Brothers, as Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy both had early roles in the series. Unfortunately, they didn’t share any screen time together. Fassbender had a much more substantial role since he appeared in seven episodes, but McAvoy only appeared in one before he was killed off.
