Before They Were Stars: Marilyn Monroe in “Dangerous Years”

In spite of being one of the iconic movie stars of all time, Marilyn Monroe had to take quite a few nothing bit parts in B-movies before she found fame. Her first official role was as a waitress in a 1948 film called Dangerous Years, an otherwise forgettable cheapie about juvenile delinquents. In total, Monroe had nine lines of dialogue and about a minute-and-a-half of screen time.
