I hadn’t heard about this movie until the Fantasia Film Festival schedule was released, but it is now one of my most anticipated films of that festival! A 3D movie about a gorilla who becomes a baseball star? It’s just too strange to be true! It’s King Kong meets Babe Ruth! It’s Mighty Joe Young meets Mickey Mantle! I feel like North American cinema could learn a thing or two from this kind of bizarre and yet somehow original-feeling concept.
