In the aftermath of his girlfriend’s mysterious death, a young man awakens to strange horns sprouting from his temples.
Ever since the Harry Potter film series ended, I’ve been very curious to see who among the three leads would go on to be a successful movie star. It looks like Rupert Grint has fallen by the wayside, and while I’m not a big fan of Emma Watson, I guess she has done okay for herself. But I never would have predicted that Daniel Radcliffe would go on to become a full-fledged leading man. I thought for sure he’d be like Mark Hamill, who seemed to disappear for quite a while after Star Wars before resurfacing as primarily a talented voice actor. But here we are! Radcliffe is starring in a movie that I’m actually really excited to see. Horns is based on the novel by Stephen King’s son, and directed by one of my favourite current horror directors Alexandre Aja. And the trailer looks pretty good too! I didn’t see this coming, guys.
