Yes, you read that right. During their teen years, Jada Pinkett Smith and Tupac Shakur attended the Baltimore School for the Arts together and became very close friends. At some point, they decided to make a home video where they rapped Will Smith’s “Parents Just Don’t Understand” and of course, this video resurfaced when Jada was interviewed on a talk show many years later. The whole situation is doubly hilarious since Jada wound up becoming Mrs. Will Smith while Tupac would go on to make rap music which couldn’t have been a more polar opposite to “Parents Just Don’t Understand”.
