Now that Guardians of the Galaxy has become a huge financial and critical success, it’s amazing that the film’s director, James Gunn, got his start working for Troma. Of course, Gunn’s first project for them was writing the screenplay for Tromeo and Juliet, but his first official directorial job was this three-minute PSA about the dangers of masturbation, featuring one of Troma’s most popular characters, Sgt. Kabukiman. And, yes, that is James Gunn himself playing the poor guy who has lost his sanity due to chronic masturbation.
