Before They Were Stars: The “Annie Hall” Version

I love doing “Before They Were Stars” features on projects which happen to feature multiple performers before they were famous and one of the most prominent examples of this has to be Annie Hall. Of course, this is the film where an unknown Christopher Walken first made his mark with a small, but memorable turn as Annie Hall’s oddball brother, but that doesn’t even scratch the surface. Even though Shelley Duvall and Carol Kane already some credits to their names at this point, their performances as love interests of Woody Allen helped put their careers on the map. However, if that wasn’t enough, three future stars also had miniscule “blink-or-you’ll-miss-it” bit parts in Annie Hall, including Jeff Goldblum, Beverly D’Angelo and Sigourney Weaver, whose entire role was done in a wide shot, so you can’t even tell it’s her.
