Before They Were Stars: George Clooney on “Sunset Beat”

I’ve posted a lot of “Before They Were Stars” clips of George Clooney on The Back Row, but this may be some of his most obscure footage. In 1990, Clooney starred in a short-lived ABC teleivision series called Sunset Beat, playing a guitar-playing cop who goes undercover as a biker to fight crime. It only lasted two episodes, but Clooney did have the distinction of having what may be the greatest name ever for a lead character in a police drama: Chic Chesbro! Anyway, you can see Clooney showcasing his guitar-playing skills and awesome eighties hair near the end of this clip.
