And the other way is wrong

Here’s something you may not know about me: I adore well-crafted internet film essays in video form. I’m even working on a few of my own – I promise I’ll post them here when they’re done. But in the meantime, enjoy the work of one of my video essay heroes: Tony Zhou. This guy does wonderful work, and although I had never considered David Fincher’s works to be masterclasses in cinematography before, after watching this essay, I suddenly find myself revering Fincher’s camerawork. Beautiful.
