This is a commercial from the 1960s for Ajax Laundry Detergent and it features an actress named Alice Nunn. You probably don’t recognize that name, but I’ve got two words which should ring a bell for you: Large Marge! That’s right, as hard as it may be to fathom, the cheery lady doing the laundry in this ad just happens to be the same woman who would go on to scare the crap out of an entire generation with her unforgettable appearance in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. “Yes, sir… that was the worst gravy stain I’ve ever seen!”.
