There are no strings on me…

Earth’s mightiest heroes must once again assemble when a super intelligent robot created by Tony Stark created to help fight any threats that might harm the world actually turns against him and the human race.

It’s finally here! After years of teasing, we finally have our first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, and y’know, it’s pretty spectacular. Marvel is clearly taking the route that so many other superhero films do, where they use the first installment to set the stage, and then blow everyone away with an awesome second movie that has a terrific villain. That villain is Ultron, a robot gone berserk voiced by James Spader, and I have to say, I’m already impressed. Usually I find completely CGI characters to be unintimidating since they don’t really have much weight. There’s the odd exception, but I have yet to see a computer generated villain who made me sit up and pay attention. But wow, Ultron looks pretty damn cool here, and James Spader’s voice gives this ‘bot some truly menacing personality. I’m excited, guys! This is going to be cool! And hey, look at that Hulkbuster Iron Man armour!

Avengers: Age of Ultron comes out May 1, 2015.
