Before They Were Stars: Jim Carrey Hosts the UKnow Arwards

Dumb and Dumber To has just finished grossing a $38 million weekend at the box office and made me question the sanity of North American moviegoers. But anyhow, let’s jump back 30 years when Jim Carrey was still making a name for himself as a stand-up comedian. In 1984, Carrey was given the gig of hosting the UKnow Awards, a ceremony which recognized independent and non-mainstream music and functioned as an alternative to Canada’s mainstream Juno Awards.
