This clip is from a web series called “No Small Parts”, which profiles the careers of notable character actors. Before he played Hank Schrader on Breaking Bad, Dean Norris was the quintessential “That Guy” character actor, a recognizable face you’d frequently see pop up in small roles in movies and TV shows. His face would definitely be familiar, but you wouldn’t remember his name. Well, chances are good that you probably saw Dean Norris being typecast as a cop, as Breaking Bad was approximately the 35th time he played a law enforcement role in his career. This clip features some of his earliest cop roles in such diverse projects as Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Police Academy 6: City Under Siege, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, Lethal Weapon 2, The Practice, Six Feet Under and The X-Files.
