You probably heard that legendary rocker Joe Cocker passed away yesterday at the age of 70. Before he found fame, Cocker started out his musical career under the stage name “Vance Archer” and headed up a band called “Vance Archer & The Avengers”. The Avengers mostly played pubs in Sheffield and here is the first known demo recording of Joe Cocker/Vance Archer from 1963.
