Peee-eeeww! Here’s another stinker bound for the movie dumping ground of January-February: Vice, starring Bruce Willis and absolutely no one else of note. The plot is basically The Purge meets Blade Runner, as in the near future we have perfected life-like android technology and a resort opens up where people can purge their criminal urges on human-lookin’ robots. But then one gets out, and everything goes tits-up, and Bruce Willis just stares all steely-eyed at things. It looks like crap. However, there is one noteworthy thing about its release: it’s attempting the same simultaneous theatre-and-VOD rollout that The Interview had. Something tells me this will be a far inferior film, though.
