Before They Were Stars: Richard Madden in “Complicity”

Robin’s away on vacation, so during his absence I’m going to try to post a few “Before They Were Stars” clips to help fill the void. It’s always tricky figuring out who Robin has already covered, but since Robin doesn’t watch Game of Thrones, it’s usually a good bet that he hasn’t posted clips of many of that show’s stars. Here’s Richard Madden, Robb Stark himself, in his first film: Complicity from 2000. I can’t find a lot of plot information about it online, but from what I gather, Madden is playing the young version of a character named Andy, the older version of whom is played by Paul Higgins. In true Game of Thrones fashion, this clip of Madden opens with the suggestion of incest.
