Before They Were Stars: Bill Clinton’s Congressional Campaign Ad in 1974

This TV campaign ad is an interesting piece of history: in 1974, Bill Clinton made his only attempt to run for U.S. Congress in the 3rd congressional district of Arkansas. He didn’t win the election, but he did leave behind one of the catchiest campaign jingles ever written. Man, it would have been awesome if Clinton had retained this same country music jingle when he ran for President.
