Before They Were Stars: 5-Year Old Billie Joe Armstrong Records His First Song

A few weeks ago, I posted some footage of a pre-fame Green Day performing at a high school in 1990. Well, believe it or not, at the time that footage was shot, Billie Joe Armstrong had already been making music for about 13 years. At the tender age of five, young Billie Joe actually sang and recorded his own single, titled “Look for Love”, for a record label. Hell, the kid was so ahead of the curve that he even recorded an interview about the experience at the time.
