Soon I’m going to have to add a new category to our website’s article sorting function. Does Netflix count as TV? I guess it does, even though I don’t watch it on a TV and it doesn’t air on a schedule. But I digress.
Sense8 is the new Netflix series from the Wachowskis, and after the insane (yet wholly enjoyable) mess that was Jupiter Ascending, I couldn’t be more excited. This trailer is jam-packed with all the Wachowski-isms we’ve come to expect: reincarnation, everybody being connected by some kind of neural link, slow-motion gunplay…it’s all there! And just to ensure that the trippy-ness is at an all time high, they’ve got Sayid from Lost in one of the lead roles. Get ready to have your mind bent! Seriously, though, this could be a complete disaster. But you can bet I’m going to watch it.
Sense8‘s first season debuts all at once on Netflix on June 5, 2015.
