I’m a very big fan of zombies, but even I can acknowledge that the zombie market has been oversaturated for years now. Between TV series like The Walking Dead, iZombie, Z Nation and the gazillion zombie movies that come out in theatres (let us never forget that zombies even got the romance treatment in Warm Bodies), zombies have pretty well run their course as monsters. So I’m a bit surprised that I like the trailer for Cooties as much as I do. This looks like a fun little zombie comedy, and it has the added twist of all the kids being zombies. That’s something new! I haven’t seen that before! And it means we’ll get to watch Elijah Wood and Rainn Wilson beat up children, which will undoubtedly be hilarious.
