XCOM: Enemy Unknown is one of my favourite games of the past decade, and possibly of all time. The tactical combat, campaign progression, and resource management aspects all combined to create what I consider to be a near-perfect game, and the additional content in Enemy Within and the Long War mod just made the experience even better. Could it get any more awesome? Well, here’s a trailer for XCOM 2, and…they’ve added snake people. Yup, that’s more awesome. Awesomer? More awesome. I just wish they gave this game a subtitle instead of a number. Consistency, people!
