In a post-apocalyptic future a young solitary scavenger obsessed with comic books must face his fears and become a reluctant hero when he meets a mysterious girl.
It should come as no surprise that I’m totally excited for Turbo Kid. This is exactly the kind of low-budget, crazy-concept, retro sci-fi movie that I adore, with its synthy score and vaguely post-apocalyptic setting. Not since The FP has an indie cult flick like this gotten me so hyped.
