Since we just recorded a Shouts from the Back Row podcast about the career of Arnold Schwarzenegger which will be posted on the site later today, I thought I’d dig up one of his more obscure efforts: a 1980 made-for-TV movie called The Jayne Mansfield Story. Loni Anderson portrayed Jayne Mansfield, who was once worried to guy named Mickey Hargitay, a bodybuilder who won Mr. Universe in 1955. Well, what better casting choice to portray Hargitay than an aspiring Austrian actor who was a former Mr. Universe himself and would become the biggest star in Hollywood within a few years?
