Well this is unlikely! I enjoy the movie Westworld as a campy sci-fi western, but it’s never been one of my favourites. So when I heard that HBO was going to make a series out of the property, I just shrugged and went on with my day. But now a tiny little 30-second teaser has arrived and…wow, I’m really intrigued. I’m not really sure what’s going on in this preview, but if I had to guess, it looks like they’re ditching the theme park idea, and instead the Westworld of the title is some kind of VR simulation that uses the brains of the dead as processors? Or…something? Anyway, this looks way better than I was anticipating.
