I love me some Tarantino, which I’m sure comes as a surprise to no one, but I have to admit that his past few outings have been growing bigger and bigger, more epic in scale. So I’m pleased to see that The Hateful Eight appears to be going back to Tarantino’s roots by having the film mostly take place in one setting. It’s like Reservoir Dogs meets Django Unchained. Works for me! Also, Kurt Russell’s facial hair deserves its own credit.
The Hateful Eight comes out January 8, 2016.
