Apparently this ten-minute pilot episode of the new Muppets TV series was never meant to be seen by the public, but the fan response at ComicCon was so huge that ABC decided to release it on Youtube. It seems like ComicCon has left a lot of studios and networks confused as to how they should roll out their products, with trailers being bootlegged and then grudgingly posted online in an official capacity (which happened with the Suicide Squad trailer) a few days later. At least ABC seems to be releasing this one with the right intentions. But I digress – this series looks funny and I hope it delivers some more great Muppet capers!
The Muppets premieres September 22, 2015, on ABC.
